New Members,
It has come to my attention that some newly registered members are having significant delays before getting a the RWP's activation e-mail. Those that have non-USA addresses seem to be most affected. Russian free email addresses appear to have the longest delays of up to 2 or 3 days. So if you are registering or using an email service from out of the USA ... please have patience.
For those that are not familar with the registration process, when a guest registers to become a member, the RWP automatically sends out an e-mail to the guest's address. The guest has to open the e-mail and click on the enclosed link to activate the new member's RWP account. Once the RWP receives this response, the account will be opened immediately. At this point the guest is a member and can log on to the RWP. Keep in mind that this whole process for some non-USA addresses can take up to a week.
Additional information for Explorer and Firefox users can be found at this RWPrimer thread.
If all else fails, email Ronin at Ronin_RWP@SBCGlobal.net with as much of the following info:
- Name:
- Date of initiating registration:
- Email address you registered from:
- Email address registered (address typed in the registration form):
- Did you get an activation e-mail?
- Did you click in on the activation link in the activation e-mail?
- Where you able to log-in to the RWPrimer?
- Details of the registration process that you can recall that seemesd to be a problem:
Thank You for Your Patience,
Ronin
