dwfunk,
Sorry. Individual posts can't be linked directly. The best that can be done to my knowledge is to be able to link any forum or topic page:
In-forum links
In-forum or intra-forum linking are made the same way an any other linking is done.
1) Go to the target page that you would like to link.
2) In your browser’s ‘address ‘ field (http…), hover the cursor over the current address, then ‘right click’.
3) A menu will appear. Select ‘copy’.
4) Go the ‘edit post‘ page.
5) Type the text in the ‘test edit box’ that you want to label your link as. (labeling is the name of the link you want to appear in your post in stead of the full 1 to 3 lines that represents the internet address.)
6) Select your text label by placing the cursor at the beginning of your label text and then hold down the ‘right click button’. Then move your mouse until the cursor is at the end of your label text. Release the ‘right click button’. (label will be highlighted in blue)
7) Click on the hyperlink icon in the edit icon field just above the edit box.
8) A pop-up will appear. Move your cursor to hover over the blue text (http…) in the address field.
9) ‘Left click’ and select ‘paste’. The previously copied address will be in the pop-up test field.
10) Click on the pop-up’s ‘OK’ button.
11) The text label in the ‘text edit box’ will be in blue font. This will indicate the procedure was success full.
Hope this answers your question.
