RW occupations to avoid…

I this endeavor the laws of supply and demand are greatly in the favor of the WM.  There are few WM that actually visit Russia and many RW that want a foreign husband.   This allows the WM to be… how should I say it… discriminating.  In reducing the numbers of RW that one would meet on a visit it would well be advantageous to pare off those RW that are problematic by profession or trade.

IMO, psychologists can be a problematic profession.  First it is why they choose this profession and what this profession instills in them as far as analysis of people such as their family.

Lawyers can be problematic as well.  With the Russian pastime of arguing coupled with sharp analysis can make married life trying.

Secretaries can also be a problematic profession.  Many get installed in these positions because of their obvious beauty.  Often they get spoiled and can become demanding when they get used to the male attention that they draw.

Models or model wannabes can be very much a problematic profession.  Of course many WM that spend the time and resources to visit Russia for a bride want to get a very special lady.  Bring home a foreign model bride just like the Trump would definitely make a statement of your worth as a man.  But pay now and pay later with a RW model.  Model mentality is pretty much the same in Russia as anywhere else.

These professions or trades to avoid are perhaps no different then the ones that are considered to be cautious about locally, however, in Russia where you make the calls, why waste the time and added risks to prove them wrong?  When one’s typical outlay is $200 to $400 USD/day in Russia, one maybe compelled to heed the odds. YMMV.

Of course there are exceptions in this list. As example my friend's Russian wife of almost 4 years, a lawyer from Ekaterinburg. Nice lady.

In regard to psychologists. Some turn to this profession to understand their own complexes. Also for them it may be the attraction to be able to read others and then manipulate them. I can't imagine a worse combination of desires and conditions to have in a wife.

Also a psychologist in Russia can be anywhere from a full fledged psychologist as we have here to a councilor or a New Age mystic that gives advice. Mine was the later.

It would be interesting to know what professions are desirable in a Russian wife.  I have heard school teachers and nurses/doctors because of their patience and possible desire to help others. Of course some real exceptions to this are to be expected.
