Russian Brides vs. Ukrainian Brides 
Often when a Western Man makes the decision to visit a lady or agency, he has not made a conscious decision on the country he is going to visit. His destination had been pre-determined by the place of origin of the lady or agency in question. This maybe a backward approach to finding the love of one’s life especially if risk, cost and logistics are a concern. If one is of the mind that love conquers all, I salute you and perhaps this thread may have less to no importance.
The internet is unprecedented in allowing men and women to make contact and connections regards of borders, however when the rubber meets the road, it is the men that have to pound the pavement to make it happen in real life. So unless you have a munitions belt slung over your shoulder filled with clips of bankrolls to fund your travels, it might be a good idea to pause for a moment and look at the reasons why one wants to go to any particular country in the first place. Each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Half are really preferences while the rest are more about risks, stats and motivations. The two most popular bride search destinations are Russia and the Ukraine. This is my take on them:

So what does this list say? On the extreme it says two things.
One… if you want a educated, down to earth, young, woman with children and intend to do it on a limited budget with the least amount of difficulty and discomfort, then perhaps you will be moderately successful with a Ukrainian Woman. Since the weather there is more temperate you will see sites like this more often throughout the year like this. This is especially true in the areas close to the Black Sea.
Two… if you want a educated, sophisticated, younger, taller, blue eyed, blond, woman with no children and are willing to spend more up front and jump through more hoops, endure more discomfort, then you are perhaps better likely to be successful with it in Russia.
This is not to say that Russian Women are not down earth and Ukrainian Women are not complex. Certainly there are blue eyes and brown eyes to be found in both countries... however if one is to split hairs this would be the words used by me.
This is my opinion and much of it is based on anecdotal evidence. Hope this helps those that are deciding on which areas to do their search. YMMV.
