Motivations, the looking glass test…
Those who have read some of my writings are well aware that I’m risk adversed. Managing risk is part of my bread and butter. This is good for my readers since they will often hear that the Russian Bride endeavor is fraught with risks at every step. Many of the fears one should be concerned about may even not be known. So let me belay many of those fears and unknowns by laying them out on the table in plain view.
What are the factors that make a WM/RW relationship successful... at least from a motivational standpoint? The answers are looking back at you. They can be found in any mirror… it is within yourself. You’ve looked at yourself a million times before and perhaps with this same exercise that I’m about to suggest, however this time it will be different because this is a totally different situation.
Take a long hard look at yourself. Be completely honest with yourself. Shed all pretense and ego aside. Discard all that you have as the image you want to project to women. Then search your soul as to why you want to embark this Russian Bride journey… what are your real motivations.
After deep reflection, if you find that you are motivated by one or more of the following:
hot babes.
young chicks.
long legs.
tight buns.
thin waists.
lush breasts.
sexy accent.
Guess what… you're normal. Now, if those are your only motivations, then you are in serious dudu. However, one can make a risky case for those guys that have only these motivations.
Look deeper into yourself. After meditating for a good long time, if you are motivated by all of the following:
I want a lifetime companion.
I want to create a family.
I want to be ‘the man’ to my wife.
Bingo, you get the prize… a free VIP pass through Russia Customs Control! (For those that haven't been to Russia, this will save you an hour or more of waiting in line.)
Perhaps you maybe asking yourself, “Hey, this is no different for domestic women!” WW can be seen as partners, bedroom adversaries, power competitors… but companions… for life? Not likely. If you think so, then explain to yourself why you are separated, divorced, or broken up. In general, WW lack the commitment of their marriage vows. If companionship is the only motivation on this list, then get a pet.
Creating a family is only natural for men. We men are creatures of habit. We crave order, stability and routine for most of our day. Families are a way of fulfilling that need in an altered way. A man grounds the family and the family grounds the man. Do WW want a family? I think not. They only seem to want careers and children… later… much later. So if later… much later, they get their children, guess what, they dump their man. My guess is that they don’t want to come to the realization that they can’t have their cake (children) and eat it to (have their career stay on track).
It is by tradition that man is the head of the house. It is only here in Western culture and only by rule of law that implies otherwise. As such, many WW take offense to the notion that a man should be the one wearing the pants. It is well known that the typical WM man is synonymous with the emasculated (with the help of the law) man. This doesn’t bode well for most men being thought of as ‘the man’ in any WW/WM marriage.
So getting back to RW. If your motivations include wanting a lifetime companion, family and being ‘the man’, then you are in good stead. This is what all serious RW are looking for in a husband and matches their motivations 100%. If you really have these attributes going into your search for a RW match, you are following the path of least risk and highest reward, because motivations are the precursor of life goals. When husband and wife start out with the same motivations and their life goals are inline, they can only grow closer, not apart.
