For the most part many Russian words are far removed from that of the English language. Still, there are some commonalities though they are not all exactly pronounced the same, however to most WM's untrained ears they sound the same: English Russian Pronuncation Meaning ass - expert costume - suit idiot - to walk, idiot magazine - store plot - raft rye - heaven scotch - tape sin - son stool - chair river - fish fan - hair-dryer tooth - ace (as in a pack of cards) To be continued...
