Russian Brides are Tough…

Russian Brides appreciate men that are committed to one family.  Such a man is hard to find in Russia.  When she believes that she is married to such a man, she will reciprocate with a tenacious zeal.

I’m often struck how AW lacks commitment to relationships.  The society provides little to no incentive to stay married.  As a matter of fact it would seem that the society has detractors that encourage AW to divorce their mates on as little as a whim.  Perhaps the most common phrase by AW is, "I'm not happy with my marriage."  In the traditional wedding vows it is said, "in sickness and in health, in poverty and in wealth, till death..."  These are noble words that laws have rendered mute.   This is perhaps telling in the high divorce rate in the U.S.  RW also have a high divorce rate in Russia but for different reasons.

The statistics are not firmly in yet, however I believe that they will show that with RW/AM couples, the divorce rate will be significantly lower.  Russian Women don't bail on a marriage at the first sign of road bumps ahead.  They are not 'fair weather' spouses.  Russian Women understand that a marriage is not all clear sailing all the time.  They are long suffering before throwing in the towel.

There are many reason for this.  First, the profile of the typical WM that marries a RW is more educated and financially sound then the average husband.  The WM is typically more mature that the RW (~15 age difference) and is able to lead in the relationship as the Rwife expects.  A mature WM is needed to bring reasonable relationships skills that most RW don’t possess.  Once, the RW/WM relationship has been 'well bonded', the die is cast for the two as inseparable life mates.  She will fight tooth and nail to keep it that way.

Sure she will be tender and soft inside the relationship… sometimes.  She will appear to be soft and tender outside the relationship.  However, if anything or anyone threatens her or her family… look out.

RW are used to harsh conditions.  When a marriage hits a few road bumps or potholes, RW take it in stride.  They expect that life is not a cakewalk and can weather the storms.  Growing up in Russia has toughened them to endure hardships that other lesser women would run away from.

As petite and faminine they seem in their mini skirts & heels, Starting from an early age, all RW come Battle Hardened and combat ready with 1 or 2 years of war training.  All RW have been taught to handle field first aid, damage control, AK-47s, small arms & weapons, gas & nuclear survival protocols.  Most, have been raised on their kitchen gardens and know how to work the land.  There’s much more to them than meets the eye.  RW can handle most any situation.

No matter how sexy they may appear, their background and experiences have made them very tough and they bring this to bear as a positive attribute to the marriage relationship.

Mine was trained as a nurse with NBC certifications. She was shocked when I pointed out the Bomb Shelter features of the Metro system. "How you know?" was her question.  I told her I would tell her after we were married. She was not happy that I had permission to visit Звёздный Городо́к, aka Star City, and she was denied. I canceled that trip, but was told with more time they could and would approve my 'near wife.'  So, getting access to Звёздный Городо́к over a Russian Citizen is another explanation for after we are married, but will consist more of accompanying me to competitions.

She was shocked when I told her what this guy was:  see attached photo
It's a  РТ-2УТТХ Тополь-М, ( RT-2UTTH <Topol-M>  ), NATO designation: SS-27, Topol "Poplar"  This one hasn't been released to the Strategic Rocket Forces yet, and was on test trials.  I don't know why they were down here near Moscow, they are built in Votkinsk, Republic of Udmurtia by the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology. That plant is about 1000 km east and north of Moscow.
