Russian Brides and Posture…
It is a fact that RW are competing for a limited number of eligible RM. The prospects are even more limited if a RW is above average height. This is something that tall RW have to take seriously. It is no trivial matter. RW may not address it on a conscious level, however it can show in their posture.
Bare in mind that many RM are very much old school in the sense of being the dominant figure in a relationship or family. They also posture their position as proof of manhood or bragging rights with other RM. Such gestures go over poorly if the RW partner is taller.
Another point is that RW seem to be very comfortable in a fetal position. I’m not sure exactly why. Perhaps it’s a way to keep warm. At any rate, they can look very fetching like this. The down side is that this overworking the bones and muscles only in one direction can lead to a tendency of slumping forward.
There are other contributing factors that don’t aid in proper posture either. For instance, working and living environments are likely not to have ergonomics as a prime consideration. I’ve seen very young children toting books to school that must have been challenging their own body weight. Lack of proper nutrition in some can also be a problem.
When particularly tall RW come of age, everything is set in place for her to develop less than perfect posture. This condition, if it exists, is a culmination of years of physical and mental conditioning. Fortunately, this is necessarily a deal breaker for WM. This is almost always a reversible problem. With our Western chiropractics, such conditions or habits can be broken within a year or less. So if you meet that special someone, don’t throw out the baby with the bath water because of posture. If it is a deal breaker in your book, perhaps it is worth reconsidering.
