The Right Stuff…
For those WM that are truly driven, a Russian Woman e-mail campaign can be very grueling if you don’t have the right stuff. This is not e-dating, though it may seem like it at first. Locally, e-dating is not very successful and rarely leads to marriage. It’s not the system that is the problem. The system works great. It’s more the expectations of the participants that IMO is the greatest stumbling block for those that are earnestly searching for their soul mate.
RW dating by its very nature will converge to marriage. It’s a high stakes, think on your feet, winner take all affair. In this one can think of e-dating as just a warm-up to RW e-mail campaign.
So what is so difference? To start, one can’t assume the things that we all take for granted in sharing the same culture. These cultural differences raises much havoc in mere writen or verbal communications.
Also, we don’t share the same language and slang expressions. This brings rise to transliteration and interpretation problems.
Then there are gender role issues with its do’s and don’ts for both parties.
This may sound like a lot, however it is not when one approaches it in a natural way.
So what is the right ‘stuff’?
Well, in the best case, one would consider having the following:
- Able to write plainly and simply without over-explaining (keep it like Hemmingway).
- Able to write uniquely to each RW (tailored to each RW).
- Able to keep correspondences organized (don’t want to sent Olga’s letter to Sveta).
- Able not to be twisted into knots by corresponding with many RW at a time (multiple simultaneous correspondences may not sit well with some WM).
- Able to think objectively and yet write passionately at the same time (don’t get emotionally involved yet be able to write about one’s passions with vigor).
- Able to glean information on the barest of writings (ability to assess a RW’s character with only threads of writing).
- Able to distinguish a scam from the real deal.
Perhaps I present qualifications that appear impossible for the average WM. This is not true. What I state are the optimal characteristics. What I haven’t mentioned is that driven, tenacity and motivation can override the need for many of these points so long as the WM is open to learn and improve his skills.
There are too numerous RW that a WM can make mistakes and improve his craft for the next woman. Though getting one’s stuff in one sock is preferable the first time around, one can have comfort in knowing that there are many RW in the proverbial pond if one makes a mess of things.
Just remember that with RW, many shoot high and miss the mark. This is not that the mark is too distance but by the lack of the shooter’s ability or the tools he is using. In other words, don't bite more than you can chew and practice makes perfect.
