One Way to Ease RW Homesickness…
Once Russian Women arrive in their new homeland they will face may struggles. The pressure will be immense from day one. Because of this there is a significant relationship infant mortality rate that is strongly related to these pressures. It is up the WM to keep those forces in check otherwise that ‘love that was destined to be’ will be just a memory in the scrap heap.
There are many ways to keep that pressure cooker of hers from blowing a lid. She needs a touch of something from her homeland where she can relax as get her mind off the day grind. One that is always a good relief valve is for her to zone out through Russian shows. These can be had through the Russian satellite channels. The problem with this is that they are fine for severe homesickness, however they can turn into a crutch.
What I’m really speaking about is a library of the RW’s most favorite shows and movies. On one hand it allows her to get away from the stress and strain of coping with a new life, yet she can only view her favorite DVDs so much before she gets bored with them too. This is self balancing and very economical.
The economy is found in Russian DVDs. They are inexpensive and they are in Russian! So before your RW boards that silver bird, give her some DVD bucks so she can buy her favs. This could be the best investment you ever made in keeping your RW through a most trying time.
