Russian Women and the 2-Year Rule…
As I have said before, a Russian Woman is on a tight time schedule. Most have a goal of finding an honest caring man and starting a family before the age of 30. They don’t do this by cooling their heels forever and waiting for the man to pop the big question. There are ultimate limits.
Most Russian Women abide by the 20year rule. If a relationship is going nowhere after 2 years, the RW will bail to go to greener pastures. She can’t hold onto a maybe marriage in the wings. They know the value of a bird in the hand and that is what they may give any man that drags a relationship that long.
Russian Women in their mid twenties are beginning to be old maids (rand report, table 1.8), (no kidding… cultural thing). They become very motivated and finding a decent man becomes a very serious endeavor. That is why many will entertain the option of a WM.
Fortunately, for most WM, the time frame for deciding if a WM/RW relationship has wedding bells in the future is rather short. For those that believe that caution is paramount and slow & steady wins the race… think again. Slow and steady may work for turtles, but it is not an endearing trait that RW are looking for. Sometimes it calls for a leap of faith when deciding to propose, though when skirting the relationship’s second year anniversary one should know the RW well. In any case, if you are approaching the 2-year mark, it is time to get off your posterior and make a decision or risk becoming relationship dumpster material.
