| Dear friends. I worked in marriage agency and has experience with it. We tried to find honest agency to cooperate with. But didn`t find. I don`t want to say, that all agency are bad, but I know (I see it in our news-papers, for example), that many agency suggest home work - to write letters instead of girls. And many girls are agree. From both sides - from translator and from girl who is lazy to write. I don`t like such kind of business. How do you know, that it is your woman who writes letter to you?? Are you sure?

Natali,
I think that many don't have a clue as to whether 'their' RW is really writing to them or not. Many are hopeful that it is while not enough are skeptical.
For the most part, I avoided the letter writing part for this reason. Whatever one can accomplish in letter writing in 6 months to a real RW can be done in 30 minutes or less face-to-face. There is no substitute for face time and face time trumps all other forms of communication. Why bother with the boiler-room operations, independent letter scammers and whatever new way to fleece a Western man through the mail. It's much easier just to get one's rear on a plane and do cold calls on those RW. A personal cold call is red hot in comparision to a dozens of warm letters.
